Best Electrical Jobs for New Electrical Contractors

Struggling to keep the schedule full? Here are the 3 types of jobs every new electrical contractor needs to say “YES” to immediately.
The Problem:
– New contractors often struggle with inconsistent cash flow.
– Many electricians say “no” to small jobs, thinking they aren’t worth the time.
– It is difficult to qualify clients without wasting gas and time on free estimates.
The Solution:
– Why service calls are the “bread and butter” fuel for your business rocket ship.
– How to use a “Truck Roll Fee” to qualify clients instantly (and stop losing money).
– The “Young Buck” strategy: Using 24/7 availability to beat established competition.
– Targeting high-maintenance clients (like gated communities) for recurring revenue.

  1. Out here in AZ I’ve been charging $200 for a trip fee which covers the first hour but usually if it’s something that takes 5-10 minutes I’ll drop it to $150 to be nice.

  2. Thank you Jeff currently rebranding and moving out of a old name into a new name more residential based. And now focusing on more populated better incone areas. Was currently working lower income areas was a tough gig.
