I currently have an older Sylvania/Zinsco 200A combo meter-main service panel that is semi-flush mounted on the exterior garage wall with wood siding.
The panel is recessed between standard 16″ OC studs, so I only have about 14.5″ usable width inside the wall cavity.
I am trying to find a modern 200A combo meter-main replacement that:
* will fit the existing narrow stud cavity,
* is suitable for semi-flush/recessed installation,
* and ideally has the meter positioned higher (similar to the original Sylvania layout), NOT the newer low-meter style combos.
The existing meter appears to be ring-style with a utility tamper seal ring, so I would also prefer to stay with a ring-style meter socket if possible.
The new panel will feed directly into an EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 3 located immediately behind the exterior panel inside the garage.
Does anyone know of a good direct-fit modern replacement or specialty panel line that may work for this type of retrofit?
